My name’s Monica. I’m a Korean-American actress based in NYC.

I was raised on Staten Island, scouted for commercial/print modeling work before i started my freshman year at the University of Michigan, took my first acting classes a few months into commercial-ing and the rest is history!

Today, i’m a graduate of U of M and the William Esper Studio. I continue my training in NYC with on-camera coaches Bob Krakower and Eric Reis, commercial teacher Casey Feigh, and Upright Citizens Brigade Improv.

With the politeness of Gemma Chan and the earnest intensity of Sandra Oh, i hope to add my own breaking + redefining of asian stereotypes to the mix of stories out there today.

In addition to my acting pursuits, I am also a real estate agent at The Agency.
